"Sukiennice." Cloth Hall - Sukiennice Tip by Wiktoria

Cloth Hall - Sukiennice, Krakow: 89 reviews and 149 photos

This is the largest building in the Market Square. It was originally erected as a center for the cloth trade (that's why it's called Sukiennice from 'sukno' meaning cloth). So this 14 century cloth hall is today the Museum of Polish painting (upper floor) and a trading center (you can find some beautiful souvenirs here) under its arcades.

Address: Market Square
Directions: Historical centre.
