"ALCATRAZ: a better shot" Alcatraz Tip by shivan

Alcatraz, San Francisco: 292 reviews and 488 photos

I zoomed to the Alcatraz Island to show it in better detail.
Formerly a most famus prison, it is now a museum.
It's fame come from the fact that escaping Alcatraz was almost impossible due to the cold water and strong streams. No swimmers could ever reach the town from here, or this was what its builders thought.

I did not visit it , no time to do it, it should be interesting, I will not miss it next time (God only knows when...).
