Favorite thing: On Sunday mornings they have a flea market in a park a few blocks in from Ipanema Beach on the north end. Lots of great deals on t-shirts, trinkets and nick nacks, although there was a few very nice artworks and sculptures. Of course too pricey and risky to handle back home. If you want finer things go to home with to impress then Krishna is where you should go. Fine womens apparel/jewelery and you can drink complementary wine to ease the pain.
