Each civilization formed a cultural mosaic in Adana by transferring its own culture to the latter. The Hittites, Romans, Arabs, Seljukes, Ramazanoðullarý, Ottomans, Turkoman and nomadic tribes caused the local culture to be assorted. Especially in the 19 th and 20 th centuries, the fact that the settlements increased in Adana, efforts for progress in agriculture and industrialization have changed the local culture a lot.
