SIDEWALK CAFES: Sometimes you'll just be in the mood to sit down and look at your map or guidebook and have a cold drink or snack at a sidewalk cafe. Just remember that there is one price to take-out, another to sit inside, and another to sit at the quaint little table outside, (with the latter being most expensive) I paid 9,60 euros for a beer and small bottle of water outside the Vatican taking the proprietors suggestion to sit at the table. It probably would have been a quarter of that price had I ordered it to take away. Sometimes it's nice to sit outside. Just be aware that you are paying a premium price to do so.
