"Packing List" Russia Packing List Tip by aliante1981

Russia What to Pack: 46 reviews and 35 photos

Luggage and bags: If your suitcase has wheels, check that they are solid - even wheeling it in Moscow will seem to your some kind of cross-country, not to mention smaller towns.

Photo Equipment: Generally, if you go to big cities, you will be able to buy anything, apart from professional film (it's rare even in Moscow). In smaller towns, you will get the usual film and AA batteries. But if you need special batteries you may find yourselves in trouble. At the same time you can develop and print your films almost everywhere.

Miscellaneous: About ATMs... You can safely bring your credit/debit cards knowing that they will not fail you and that there are plenty of ATMs - in Moscow 9every sybway station and many other points) and St. Peterburg. if you are planning to go to more remote places better take cash. You also should check the notes look new - otherwise they might not get accepted.
