The Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza.
One cannot think of visiting the Cairo area without touring the these world famous monuments. It takes up to half a day to pay a proper examination. If you are up to it and are not terrified of enclosed places, then go to see the tomb inside of the Pyramid of Cheops. However it can be a difficult climb if you are not agile because it does involve virtually crawling on all fours for part of the way to the tomb.
