"I strongly recommend walking..." Brooklyn Bridge Tip by Christer81

I strongly recommend walking the Brooklyn Bridge from either the Manhattan side over to Brooklyn, or the other way. We walked from Brooklyn facing Manhattan to see the NYC skyline while walking. There are lots of benches to strech one's leg or to enjoy the view while walking over this enourmous construction.
After the walk we found our way down to PIER 17, a rebuildt harbour area with lots of outdoor resturants and bars, a nice place to end your walk.

Address: Spanning the East River.
Directions: We took the subway to Bergen Street Station and walked our way from there to the beginning of the Bridge, about 15 minuttes walking. That way we got to see some of the Brooklyn part of the city aswell
