If you get the chance and have some time to spare head up north to a small fising town called Whitby, North Yorkshire. It is a very beautiful town which is known for a number of things, amongst others that Bram Stocker (the author of Dracula) lived in the town and that parts of the book were based there. It also has the Whitby Abbey ruins (again a setting used in Dracula) overlooking the town. It is very easy to become scared on foggy winter nights!! You can take a Dracula Walk around the town or visit the museum and if you get all ?Draculad out? you can enjoy fish and chips on the sea front or overlooking the harbour. Splendid!
