<font size=3> Now call me a misery guts if you like...but I cannot abhore this adopted event..'Trick 'a' treating...and Halloween... Look at this photo, I took it last night ..the 5th October, the FIFTH OF OCTOBER...now, I love the kids, but 'Maaan, cmon, where do we get this rubbish from...hmm

The problem is, that a lot of kids don't actually give a hoot about what it is they are doing, its just a darned good excuse to harrass an elderly neighbour, what do they want, sweets, cakes...naaaah..MONEY! Money is the no 1 hobby for lots of kids, and what if 'granny' don't pay, well...watch yer windows..!

Not all children exploit the opportunity, but there is a definate demise in responsibility of parents to keep an eye on what their kids are doing, in many places there isn't the nicey, nicey middle class, oh darling lets have a halloween party and invite the 'Joneses' for a little party in the lovely garden...there arent gardens in many inner city homes, but back yards, often filled with the status symbol pitbull terrier that never gets taken for a walk...oh so cynical... NO, quite clearly not everyone is irresponsible but I DO see this every day...and I don't blame the kids..I worked for two years in a prison for young offenders and many of those kids were a product of parents who didn't give a s**t about them (not all)... oh for innocence and simple beauty.
