Sachsenhausner Warte: "Sachsenhausner Warte" Frankfurt am Main Restaurant Tip by lenoreva

It has a nice outside Biergarten in the summer. It is located next to a lovely guard tower.

Favorite Dish: Food is traditional German fare - including daily specials which often include meat fresh from the hunt: wild boar, deer and rabbit among others. They have great Apfelwein (traditional Frankfurt Apple wine). I like to have mine mixed with Fanta (an orange flavored soft-drink) because it tastes sweeter - thus it is called 'süssgespritzt' (sweet sprizted), but you can also order it 'sauergespritzt (sour sprizted - mixed with fizzy water) or straight up.
