Estates, Moscow: 18 reviews and 28 photos

It’s worth visiting! This museum is not actually off-beaten track, it is within Moscow but a bit far away from the city center.

Brief history: It’s one of the top among Russian estates. Its was formed during several centuries and got its final look during the count Sheremetiev N.P. in XVIII-XIX cent. The internal decoration of the palace almost hasn’t been changed. Chandeliers, furniture and other pieces are at their original places.

Ostankino palace is the only one theatrical building of XVIII cent., which retained the stage, auditorium, make-up rooms and part of the stage mechanisms.
