Marigold Restaurant for Yum Cha in Chinatown
For quality, value, variety and taste, surprisingly Sydney is one of the best places in the world to have yum cha (yum meaning 'drink' and cha meaning 'tea' in Cantonese). Perhaps it is because of the quality of our ingredients, perhaps it is the chefs who have been poached from top restaurants in Asia and have migrated here ... whatever it is, Yum Cha in Sydney is a great experience and if you are adventurous with your food and like Asian cuisine, try Yum Cha, offered 7 days from 10am-3pm in most large Chinese Restaurants in Chinatown. Marigold has approx 120 varieties of dim sums. Approx $15-20 AUS/head. TIP: if you lunch here on the weekend, it is best to arrive just before 12noon so that you don't have to wait for a table, and level 5 has a slightly better atmosphere than level 4.
Favorite Dish: Prawn and pork dumplings, BBQ Pork buns
Address: Lvl 4 & 5,683 George St, Haymarket (Chinatown)
