In Santa Rosalia turn up Obregon to Calle 4 and get some great French bread at the Bakery--The doughnuts are not worth trying, but the bread is delicious. There is also a bank and 24 hr teller machine across from the Bakery if you need cash. The town was established by a French Mining company. The town is best known as a ferry port to Guymas on the mainland and for a church designed by Eiffel of Eiffel tower fame. The beaches near Santa Rosalia are mostly rocks and pebbles, so although you can park on the beach most people head south to sandier shores.

othercontact: There are also military check po
