Favorite thing: King's Lynn looks in many ways like a Frisian town. It lies a couple of miles inland from the Wash on the banks of the river Great Ouse. You should be able to spend about half a day to explore the old hanseatic buildings. A few miles out of town is Castle Rising, that unfortunately was closed on the days we were there.
