"There's a Koreatown in..." Beijing Restaurant Tip by jeaniek13

Beijing Restaurants: 709 reviews and 938 photos

There's a Koreatown in Beijing. If you've ever been to Korea or to the U.S. and eaten at a Korean restaurant, the Beijing counterparts are incredibly inexpensive, at least for travelers from countries where a meal costs more than a few bucks. Four of us were able to eat plenty on $10.00 (which is more than you would normally spend on a meal in China).

Unless you have time to get accustomed to the food (and different bacteri in) of China, try to be wise in selecting food. This is not to say don't eat real ethnic Chinese food, but be cautious... equivalent to Montezuma's Revenge may strike.
