Everyone should give Camden a visit. It is easy to get to on the Underground system (Northern Line). It is a greate place to visit at weekends when the area really comes alive (especially Sundays). There are loads of shops (great deals when buying leather goods, shoes, jackets, etc). There are lots of markets ranging from Arts and Crafts, Second hand clothes (lots from the 1960s), New clothes (good if you are looking for something different to what you would normally find in the shops). You can also pick up lunch for around £2.00. Lots of places on the street offering tastes of different types of food and at that price you can try two or three!
The diverse and interesting sites and people. If you join the market at Camden Lock (the Arts and Crafts market) you can walk along the river bank to Hampstead Heath(past Regents Park and London Zoo) and then further along to Little Venice. You will come across some very interesting people during your walk (street musicians etc) people just chilling out and lovers walking hand in hand. You can also pick up a boat at Camden Lock and cruise along the river to Little Venice whilst learning all about the local history. Get the boat one-way and walk back yourself
