Frankfurt am Main Transportation: 157 reviews and 174 photos

No doubt..PLANES!! Planes everywhere..Frankfurt International Airport is the busiest airport in Europe..Planes lands and takes off every minute..One night I was walking somwhere in the city and there was like more airplane lights than stars :) They were waiting in the air for landing..just beautiful.

Frankfurt has a very well built and efficient transportation system..Two fast metro trains (U-Bahn and S-Bahn), buses and trams..making a wide spread and dense transportation network...You can easy find your route to any destination by looking at the maps..just remember the number of the track and the final coresponding destination...It's not like Paris, but you can go wrong also in Frankfurt :)

What about trains? Well, Frankfurt it's also a very big node for trains, the Hauptbahnhopf (Central Station) is 10 minutes to walk from the center..you can easily buy a ticket to anywhere and just jump in..
