Try the Finnish fish foods. Some of these should probably be presented on the dangers-section but I'll take a risk...
Silli. It, well, can't be described by words. You have to see it with your own eyes. If you actually have guts to taste it and even like it, you may have what it takes to survive here
Kalakukko. You can buy this at least in Kuopio but also on markets around Finland. It's bread filled with very small fish and pork.
Pääpälli (pictured above). Doesn't it look delicious? Ok, I'm kidding. It doesn't exist but I couldn't resist
Let's try something that doesn't look disgusting. The smoked salmon is actually really delicious.
Back to weird looking foods. How about mämmi? It's traditional easter food. It looks like thick, black porridge made of rye. You know why I say that it looks weird when you actually see it.
You want dessert? Try salmiakki although I don't know anyone (besides Finns of course) who like it.
Oh well... you can also eat normal food here so don't get spooked. One very nice thing is that Finns know a lot about food allergies. So if you are lactose intolerant, have celiacs disease or are vegetarian, you'll easily get proper food according to your special diet.
