"See the Plaza, a recreation of..." Country Club Plaza Tip by noahsdad

Country Club Plaza, Kansas City: 8 reviews and 10 photos

Favorite thing: See the Plaza, a recreation of Seville, built by some obsessed American developer in (I think) the 1920s. Complete with fountains and filigreed froufrou, the Plaza has kind of an artificial feel, but the shopping, eating, and even the relaxation by a bubbling fountain are quite real. Don't miss the barbecue and KC's jazz heritage, situated as it is along the New Orleans/Chicago axis.
