"It's Threadgills, hands down,..." Threadgill's Tip by noahsdad

Threadgill's, Austin: 6 reviews and 3 photos

It's Threadgills, hands down, offering hearty roadhouse food (barbecue, po boys, country cooking like cheesy 'southwestern' squash and spinach casserole, plus comfort-food desserts like chess pie and banana pudding). Terrific! County Line is barbecue heaven, with many meats to choose from (including turkey) and hearty desserts like cobblers. You can pig out or order a lighter sampling so you can indulge without overdoing it. Siena offers creative Tuscan cuisine in a beautiful setting; the food is quite good, but it's also pricey, and the portions are >tiny<.
