Trams, Lisbon: 21 reviews and 34 photos

Take the tram ride - called saudade. This electric trams are true symbols of Lisboa, and it tracks down a large part of the city, climbing up and down the seven hills.
This tram ride started as early as in the 1901.
What we did was take the tram from the front of Mundial Hotel, and took the ride to the last stop which near a huge cemetry. We were curious and walked to see the vast burial ground...all kinds of tomb stones to be seen. And after that we took the ride back up to the fort...and sat at the fort to watch the sunset. There are lots of souveniers shop on route walk to the fort...and we were thirsty and despite the late winter weather we ate some ice cream from one to the small kiosk. It is called Solero Exotica...mango flavour with cream filling - yummy!!!
