"Rome has lots of piazza and..." Spanish Steps - Piazza di Spagna Tip by Audrey118

Spanish Steps - Piazza di Spagna, Rome: 308 reviews and 501 photos

Rome has lots of piazza and the most famous is Piazza Spagna - where the Spanish steps is. It was impossible for me to get a shot during this trip - the was just too many people trying to get a picture or too many sitting around - and really you just get a picture of a load of people instead -
There are few things to lookout while at there besides the steps -

there is the Keats-Shelley Memorial House, and just infront of the steps is the yet another Bernini great work - a boat shaped fountain. The desginer labeled street starts or ends here - Via Condotti
Rome's oldest café, Caf Greco, is just there 86.Piazza di Spagna - it is darn pack - and you can use their toilet for a fee!!! up to you the amount to pay. Another tea room - but very English is the famous Babington Tea Room just next to the step. And if you feel a sugar fix there is Godiva chocolatiers nearby!!!
