"Everyone visting Copenhagen..." Aquarium Tip by Degsy

Aquarium, Copenhagen: 5 reviews and 9 photos

Everyone visting Copenhagen rushes off to find the countries most famous fish - 'The Little Mermaid'. Whilst others are off looking, why don't you get yourself along to Danmarks Akvarium and see some real fish!
After spending some time snorkeling/diving in Australia, you'd half expect to turn around and say that there ain't much that you haven't seen of an aquatic nature . . . Well, how wrong could I be?

The Aquarium itself has a good set-up. There are so many types of fish to see, and the owners have obviously spent a lot of time and money to try and give you (and more importantly the fish) the feel of their home surroundings.

I was impressed with the historic 'Walk through time' which showed you how the fish have developed over their billions of years in existance! Oh, and the biggest bonus was that most of the information is in English.
