"There are so many great..." Indonesia Restaurant Tip by Audrey118

Indonesia Restaurants: 132 reviews and 111 photos

There are so many great eateries in Bali's Ubud town.
Among our favourite would be Casa Luna and their newer restaurant called Indus which is about 10 minutes ride from their main cafe Casa Luna along the main street, Jalan Raya Ubud.

This establishment apparently has other offerings including cooking school, and also home ware shop, and a relaxing resort.

There are many other great places to eat, one which I cannot recall the name, but there is a flight of stairs leading to the eatery which is lited at night and flowers strewn all over it. At this place I had to pre=order a duck dish (bebek) - at least 24 hours notice - it is slow cooked duck - really tender and the fragant!!!!

While in Bali there is lots of pork eaten as being Hindu island. We had lots of slow cooked stuff - and pork is one of them. Lots of people eat satay but I think Malaysians ones are tastier

Favorite Dish: At the Casa Luna Rstaurant they have excellent cakes
cakes almost like as if I was in Australia, the food with blend of East West

Indus Restaurant offers great view of Gunung Agung.
We came to their Casa Luna restaurant and a van took us to Indus which is at Campuhan area. It is a white washed bungalow house which has nice art painting. We sat of the terrace and ate a speciality tuna curry served in whole coconut - arromatic - yum
For dessert we had cakes but what i enjoyed very much was ginger ice and also passion fruit ice sorbet.
passion fruit ice cream, lime ice cream etc
