  Bouzov castle
by Zuzka

Romantic castle of Bouzov was built around the beginning of the 14th century.
At the end of the 17th century grand master of the Order of German Knights bought Bouzov's manor. This Order held the castle then until the year 1939.
Nowadays the castle has got fairy-tale form by extensive romantic rebuilding in the years from 1895 to 1910. The stately interiors of the castle are furnished with valuable historic furniture and old relics of the order. The dominant room is a pseudo-Gothic Knight Hall.

Directions: Central Moravia, close to Litovel, the closiest big city is Olomouc.
