Favorite thing: The area around Rome is also very beautiful. The hills are dotted with villas and gardens and ancient ruins.

Fondest memory: The lasting memory is dinner our last night in Rome. After visiting Hadrian's Villa, Tivoli and Villa d'Este we drove up into the hills above Rome for dinner at Ristorante Monteripoli and from the windows of the restaurant, we could see the lights of Rome and the surrounding area. We were serenaded by Italian minstrels and we drank our wine and toasted to a wonderful trip.

Also, Jillikins (VTr) and her husband from Australia danced to Waltzing Matilda!!
