Cable cars have maneuvered the city’s famously hilly streets for more than 125 years.
There are three remaining lines: the Powell & Hyde, the Powell & Mason, and the California.
All persons: $2.00 each way.
Passports are valid on cable cars: Enjoy unlimited travel on San Francisco's world-famous transit system. Ride Muni streetcars, buses, and cable cars as many times a day as you wish with your Passport.
1 day = $6;
3 consecutive days = $10;
7 consecutive days = $15;
Cable car Souvenir Postcards are also available for $2.50. They feature a tearoff ticket with a keepsake souvenir postcard featuring a historic streetcar scene and a modern view.
Cable car tickets and souvenir postcards are available at ticket booths located at Powell and Market Streets and at Hyde and Beach Streets.
