Well, since I live in Wichita Falls I've never actually stayed in a hotel there. No, I take that back. One summer our air conditioning went out so we spent the night at the Hampton Inn. It was nice. Really, I don't have much to say other than that I know several guidebooks list the Tradewinds as a recommended hotel. Well I don't know who recommended it, but DON'T STAY THERE. It's creepy & run down, and there are much better choices like the new Hawthorne Suites just off of Kemp.
