"I couldn't find Vergennes on..." Vermont Off The Beaten Path Tip by oneonta_ni

Vermont Off The Beaten Path: 28 reviews and 22 photos

I couldn't find Vergennes on this site so I am just adding it here because I thought it was worth a stop! It is a tiny town near Lake Champlain and south of Shelburne. There was a huge shop there called Kennedy Brothers. It was originally a creamery but is now a gift and antique shop. If you like gifts and antiques, allow plenty of time to see this as it is huge! There is one floor of antiques that I nearly ran through just to see it all. There was everything from newish collectibles to primitives, glassware, furniture, etc. They also sell homemade fudge and have a small cafe. The town itself is mostly late 18th and early 19th century architecture and was very quaint.
