"My Friends" Manchester Favorite Tip by hayward68

Fondest memory: My fondest memories from this city are my meetings with my VT friends. It was wonderful to finally meet in person some people whom I'd been corresponding with for ages. Dave even opened up his home and allowed me to stay with him, very brave of you Dave ;-) You, Julian, Gareth and the rest of your friends were so much fun, I will never forget the crazy nights.
Dianne and her family fed me well and were great to me when travel sickness overcame me (yikes). At least Wayne got the car stopped before it was too late, lol! Sorry Dianne! I really appreciate your giving me my first look at the Peak District and for the great tour. You and your family are super!
After spending time in this city I came to the realization that this was a place that I could easily be very happy, therefore I'm now in the process of looking for work in Manchester. Hopefully it won't take too long to find a job in my field and then I'll make the move from Canada.
