"Take a bus tour." Big Bus London Bay Car Tip by hayward68

Big Bus London Bay Car, London: 12 reviews and 12 photos

This is a great way to orient yourself with the city and learn a few facts. We took the Big Bus Company tour, actually we were given free tickets, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, even though the guide took great delight in teasing us the whole trip. My friend kept asking me to translate his English, lol, as she didn't understand a lot of expressions he used.

We took the tour in December in an open top bus, so if you do it at that time of year remember to wear gloves and a hat, it can get kind of cold. But be careful taking pics with gloves on, some of mine have the tips of my gloves in them!

You can hop on and off these buses at various stops around the city. We picked ours up at Green Park, there are various different routes you can choose from.
