Old San Juan is like a fortified spur into the sea, surrounded by ancient walls and with a fortress in the point. Fuerte San Felipe del Morro has a military museum with dispalys and videos (open 9 to 5pm, US$2). Casa Blanca is the ancient residence of Juan Ponce de Leòn (1521) the conqueor that, after winning battles against the Arabs of Spain and after partecipating to the second trip of Cristoforo Colombo, went to Caribe searching for the mythical Fountain of Youth.
