County Fermanagh is not quite off the beaten path - it is actually a very popular destination for visitors but it is not crowded with tourists like other parts of Ireland can be. I have listed a few things to see there with photos on this page. Some other interesting sites are:

Drumskinny Stone Circle - a bronze age monument with a cairn and stone alignment, 4 1/2 miles from Kesh.
