"A beautiful backdrop..." Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Tip by londonlover
Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island, New York City: 412 reviews and 678 photos
Here are my sister and I with a view of the New York skyline in 1997, from the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty.
I admit that it's hard for me to look at this picture now. There I am smiling in front of the twin towers, with no knowledge of what would happen to the New York skyline only four years later. Still, it's important to remember what used to be, and hopefully it will give us all courage to rebuild New York, and the rest of America.
