Boulders Beach Penguin Sanctuary
On the road to the Cape of Good Hope, stop at Boulders Beach Penguin Sanctuary. It's a breeding ground for the local species (the amusingly named jackass penguin), where you can get VERY up close and personal with the birds. Look hard for a little sign along the road that points to the bird sanctuary--well worth a stop!
