"Packing List" Alabama Packing List Tip by PGQT

Alabama What to Pack: 6 reviews and 1 photos

Luggage and bags: Pack what you think you will absolutely need. Save trunk space for recreational accessories such as floats, beach balls, etc.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take the most comfortable shoes you have. If you're visiting in the summer, you will need to pack mostly shorts, t-shirts, and swim suits. For dining out, only casual wear will work great.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Plenty of sun screen!! Spf 30 is the way to go. While you may want a great looks of a tan you don't want the pain of a sun burn.

Photo Equipment: There are plenty of stores that sell film, batteries, etc. However, be prepared to pay more on the beach. Shopping for these items at home is a great idea.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: At the beach, you will definately need a beach ball, frisbee, and/or sand toys. Even adults enjoy buiding sandcastles. The texture of the sand makes it easy to create a masterpiece.

Miscellaneous: Many motels provide easy beach access. when you make your reservations be sure to ask if it's on the beach or across the road.
