"Take a walk on the quiet side" London Off The Beaten Path Tip by inktimi

London Off The Beaten Path: 1,701 reviews and 3,049 photos

Quiet Regent's Canal has a pathway that runs parallel to it. This hour (or so) walk from Camden Lock (Tube: Camden Town or Chalk Farm, Northern Line) to Little Venice (Tube: Warwick Avenue, Bakerloo Line) is quite pleasant. The canal runs through the London Zoo as well as the backyards of some upper class neighborhood homes. It's a great way to escape the noise and crowds of the center of town and best of all--especially in expensive London--it's free.
