Go to Salamanca! It's a beautiful small city, especially nice for those travelling that are in their 20's.
Also, go to a bull fight...try to do it in one of the larger cities.
Go see Flamenco dancing!
Go to Las Ramblas in Barcelona...
Go to the Prado Musuem in Madrid
The University of Salamanca is quite large in itself, not to mention the thousands of international students that choose Salamanca as their study abroad site. (Like me!)
The Bullfight - Although it may seem cruel, it is an activity that is submerged in hundreds of years of tradition and you can truly get a feel for the culture by experiencing this. Flamenco dancing..skip the tourist traps where you pay for a show and go to a real Flamenco club if you want to see some dancing with true sabor.
Las Ramblas..you will see absolutely everything sold there from the street vendors, from birds to unique paintings.
Directions: Salamanca...about a two hour bus trip from Madrid
Bull Fights...can find them almost anywhere. I went to the Plaza de Toros en Madrid, a beautiful spot.
Flamenco club...sorry, but I can't remember the
