Favorite thing:
I found this a remarkable house, so much decorations! It is on the same square as the tower and the golden roof. I was amazed by it, looking down on it from the tower, but also looking up from the square.

It is originally a 15th century Gothic town house. In 1730, the fašade was decorated with late Baroque stuccoes and front oriels, created by Anton Gigl.
The building is an outstanding example of bourgeois grandeur in the old town. The net vault of the adjacent arcades is a worthwhile architectural gem as well.

The house is named for Hans Helbling, who run a small cafÚ in there in 1833. It was completely refurbished in the years 1979 and 1980.

Address: Herzog-Friedrich-Stra▀e, A-6020 Innsbruck
Directions: Old Town
