  Air Iceland
by Sharrie

There is only one airline that fly here from America & that's Icelandair. Check its official website for discounts at www.icelandair.net

Airfares can fluctuate quite a bit depending on the month & date of travel.
I paid about US$470 to fly from Boston to Reykjavik but it may be more expensive from June 15 to end August.

We flew from Reykjavik to Hofn on Air Iceland (www.airiceland.is), the domestic airline. Pictured here is the daily flight which carries only 20 passengers. So, do book your flight in advance before arrival into this country; unless you are as lucky as I'm ;-)
Their domestic schedule includes Akureyri & Isafjordur.

Also, flights to Greenland leave from the same airport. (Not the International Airport at Keflavik)
