SPEAKEASY: "SPEAKEASY" Chiba Restaurant Tip by ChibaJP

Chiba Restaurants: 7 reviews and 5 photos

Speakeasy is owned operated by Paul (E/J speaking Australian) and Shenji (E/J speaking Japanese). It is an amazing place to hang out. It is frequented by both Westerners and anglophile locals. The menu consists of a variey of food and drinks from the 4 big English speaking countries, as well as Japanese favorites. Monday is Meat Pie Night, and Paul will even sell homesick North Americans boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese for 250 yen each.

Favorite Dish: Guinnes (on tap!) and Fried Chicken!

Directions: SpeakEasy is right next to Chiba Station. In fact you can see it from the Narita or Sobu lines as you pull into Chiba Station. It is on the Second Floor, and can easily found by its bright yellow neon
