"In Bali, little colorful..." Indonesia Local Custom Tip by dr_in_asia

Indonesia Local Customs: 121 reviews and 87 photos

In Bali, little colorful offering baskets are placed out in the morning and evening in practically every store and home. The problem for tourists is that they put them directly in front of the stores on the sidewalks. DO NOT walk on them or kick them, its very rude. You should be able to avoid them however, as the sidewalks are very uneven to walk on and you look down alot!

When visiting any temples you MUST cover your legs. So wear either long pants or bring a sarong to wrap around you. In some of them, they lend out sarongs for tourists.
