"The Penguin Terrace is the..." Portugal Restaurant Tip by oneonta_ni

Portugal Restaurants: 183 reviews and 184 photos

The Penguin Terrace is the first to come to mind. It is in Praia da Rocha in the Algarve. However, all the restaurants we ate in were very good. The funny walk is optional.
The restaurant is built on the remains of a Roman fort. It has a fantastic view and a happy, casual atmosphere. Can't remember the prices but it was very reasonable - maybe around £10 per person.

Favorite Dish: The chicken piri piri and the baked potatoes. The chicken is deliciously seasoned and the baked potatoes are swimming in butter and topped with rock salt. Not healthy but very tasty!

Address: On the main street in Praia da Rocha.
