"Tower of London" Tower of London Tip by DUNK67

Tower of London, London: 523 reviews and 935 photos

The Tower has been used for several things through the years including a menagerie, a mint, a Royal Palace and a prison. The Crown Jewels are exhibited there under very tight security, as well as many other artifacts including many suits of armour. The Tower is guarded by ceremonial guards called Beefeaters. One of the Towers most famous residents are Ravens. There is a legend that says if the Ravens leave the Tower the Kingdom will fall, i think the wings have been clipped so that they can`t fly away.
