"Please, go to the Anne Frank..." Anne Frank House Tip by goingplaces
Anne Frank House, Amsterdam: 243 reviews and 259 photos
Please, go to the Anne Frank house. Don't let the long line dissuade you--it moves quickly. The apartment is surprisingly big, but imagine living there for three years with 7 other people, day in, day out, not being able to leave. Admission is inexpensive, about 7 Euros, and worth every bit. Because of the tight space, large backpacks are not allowed in the building, and there are no lockers for storage. During peak tourist months (April-August), you'll find the house open from 9am-9pm. Otherwise, the hours are 9am-7pm, with the exception of January 1st and December 25th (noon-7pm). The Anne Frank House is closed for Yom Kippur.
Address: Prinsengracht 267
Directions: Just next door to the Westerkerk.
