"Mahn-und Gedenkstatte Musuem" Düsseldorf Things to Do Tip by sharonn

Düsseldorf Things to Do: 322 reviews and 515 photos

This is a small musuem I visted recently and had free admission. Unfortunately for me the exhibition was in German but there is some free accompanying hand books which are very informative. The musuem has quite a history. The building was occupied by the 20th SS corps and the army administration office. Inside there are tiny holding cells which contained wooden benches and a tiny wired window. There are plenty of photographs and a photograph album made out of metal (not too easy to turn the pages). Overall you couldn't spend all day in here but I did enjoy browsing.
