"Army Museum. Armory Part One" Top 5 Page for this destination Alcazar Tip by Oleg_D.

Alcazar, Toledo: 50 reviews and 142 photos

Armory of Army Museum has small but good armory. Majority of artifacts are from the collection of the Dukes of Medinaceli. That collection boasts with excellent armor for the knight and horse made in XVI century. There are many full suits of armor produced in XVI century. Collection of helmets except made in XVI and XVII century has several salads and two cabacets of XV century. Collection is worth to see and give a lot of invaluable information on West European armors of XV-XVII centuries.
Visitors are allowed to take noncommercial photos and videos without flash light and tripod.
Museum works from 10:00 till 17:00 hours. Closed on Wednesdays and public holidays.
Admission is 5 euros.

Yes, this is neither Army Museum in paris, nor Royal Armory in Leeds but collection is excellent.
