Alcazar, Toledo: 50 reviews and 142 photos

XVI century was the time of expansion, time when in the lands of Spanish Monarchs the sun never went down. From the times of Carlos I (better known as Holy Roman Emperor Charles V) and Philip II this world knows the expression “When Spain moves the whole world trembles” and that was true. Who created that Spanish world? Of course military men. So, museum has enough artifacts to provide visitors good notion about arms and armor, everyday life and beliefs of the people who conquered Americas and held in fear half of Europe.
Visitors are allowed to take noncommercial photos and videos without flash light and tripod.
Museum works from 10:00 till 17:00 hours. Closed on Wednesdays and public holidays.
