"Well, we were basically only..." Hofbräuhaus Tip by marzz3

Hofbräuhaus, Munich: 66 reviews and 96 photos

Well, we were basically only there for the night....so we had to TRY the Hofbräuhaus.
The Hofbräuhaus, owned by the state, is the world's most famous beer hall. It can accommodate some 4,500 beer drinkers on any given night. Music from live bands and huge mugs of beer served at wooden tables combine to produce the best of Bavarian nighttime fun.
Every day at 19.00 the historic banquet hall offers an impressive backdrop for the Bavarian Dance & Folklore Evening which also features the HB Festival Orchestra with alpenhorns, yodelers, glockenspiel (carillon) players, ?Schuhplattler? dancers (?shoe-tapping?), and ? Goaßlschnalzern? (?snapping whip performers?).
The entrance fee is DM 10.00 per person.

Favorite Dish: The BEER! Oh yea.....and the cute dancing guy who also played with his bells. (YES! I did say BELLS!!!!)
